How many of you are caught up in the football frenzie?
I think more and more I am seeing women and MOMS competing in these testosterone inspired competitions! My hats off to you ladies for learning and competing in the game!
Football parties really are a great time for friends and family to get together! If you don’t follow the game as much, (like me), but like a gathering of friends throw a little bash and invite friends over for Football food! You might not know what everyone is yelling – but this fun food might just be perfect “touchdown”
Cheesy bread is the perfect carb- loading fun! This is seriously so delish!
Start with a hard top loaf of bread cut it into pieces about 1inch apart the but it 1 inch apart from the other direction like this:
This is the mixture that I used for a cheesy filling but I’ve seen lots of different recipes!
Half of an onion (chopped)
Small container of sour cream
Shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup
Half a stick of cream cheese
Mix the content expect for the cream cheese and spread it over the sliced bread. Then slice you cream cheese and push it inbetween the slices of bread
Cook on 350 for 20 minutes.
Jalapeño boppers are award a hit! Check out my tutorial here
I like this version of a meatball! You can eat it a la carte or as a poorboy! The key is to make them a little bit larger then your topical meatball!
1lb turkey burger
1 TBL Italians seasoning
1/2 cup rolled oats
Mix together and mold into little balls Cook on 350 for 30 minutes
You have something cheesy, spicey and meaty now you just need a little sweetie… (Oh wait you are already there)
Lastly these are cream puffs are easy and will really make your guest think your trying going for the “extra” point
I just bought the frozen cream puffs and added a little dab if chocolate or your favorite icing!
Right now times can be hard managing all school activities and prepping for the holidays. The last thing you need is another party… Right? Try not to think of it as another thing rather then an opportunity to love on your family and friends. Recently our family lost a family member that was very close to us. The memories that I cherish are the “parties” we had together, not the work that it took to make it happen! This post is dedicated to my Uncle Big D. We love and miss you!
